Introducing Antrim Carpets USA

 

Antrim Carpets USA, is a leading importer and wholesaler of hand-loomed and hand-tufted carpets and custom rugs from overseas, created for the residential and commercial markets. The manufacturing of hand loomed or hand woven broadloom carpet is a process of weaving yarn over a series of metal rods to form an all loop pile carpet. The weaver then forms a pattern by cutting open chosen rows of loops or cutting all of the loops to create a cut pile carpet.

Antrim Carpets USA’s line of natural handmade carpets and rugs are manufactured with top quality materials and techniques with a focus on providing our customers with safe natural floor covering.

Antrim products are hand loomed using 100% wool, natural latex and ‘action backing’. The process begins with the selection of yarns using the longest wool fibers available, most of the products use the natural colors of wool and can achieve a color range by blending the different wool fibers together.

Fine quality, all natural wool offers numerous advantages when used in flooring. It has been the standard in floorcovering for centuries and represents all the qualities that synthetic fibers try to emulate. New Arrival: Godfrey Hirst Easy Life Carpet

Although we prefer wool and Stainmaster nylon fiber carpets, this new collection of PET polyester carpets from Godfrey Hirst definitely fill a niche in our showroom.  These products are priced right and are perfect for rental properties, resale homes or base grade carpet for new construction.  In addition, these products will be great for active families.

With carpet styles that are rich with color, texture and patterns, our Easy Living collection uses PET polyester  manufactured with Spectral Solution Dyed Fiber helps meet the needs of a demanding household.

Spectral Solution Dyed Fiber is manufactured from continuous filament PET polyester.  Tightly fibers are tightly spun into yarn using higher twist levels than other manufacturers.  A dense construction in the carpet is used to provide greater performance, ensuring greater appearance retention as well as durability. Solution dyed yarn means lasting color and FADE RESISTENCE for years of exceptional color clarity.

Our commitment to the environment is another reason Godfrey Hirst chose to manufacture with Spectral color lock yarns made from PET polyester. PET polyester is one of the easiest carpet fibers to recycle. This helps reduce energy consumption, saving valuable petroleum resources and more iMportantly, helps eliminate solid waste from landfills.

Ascend Custom Rugs & Carpet

Once again, Hemphill’s Rugs & Carpets has used their contacts worldwide to come up with something really spectacular!  Featured in this slide show are just a few examples of custom rug and wall to wall carpet products available from a resource in New Zealand.  In fact, we will be touring their facility in New Zealand later this year.  These designer quality products can be custom shaped, sized and colored.  Unique to this line is the use of bamboo in creating a few of these products.

The ordering process will include selecting the product.  Choose from short shags, core wrap yarns, long shags, stripes, etc.  Then you select your colors.  Choose from standard colors or we can submit a color (paint chips, fabrics, another carpet) and get a strike off for approval made.

And while a picture may be worth 1000 words, these photos can’t do these floorcoverings justice. The texture and feel cannot be conveyed in a photograph.
