Because of the unique composition of the fibers, wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water vapor regulating humidity. It can also absorb air contaminants such as formaldehyde and sulfur dioxide. Wool naturally sheds water and therefore most stains, while maintaining an excellent natural flame resistance without use of chemical treatments.

Thank you very much for your generous help with the delivery delay on our order and most especially for your level- headed advice and reassuring tone re: any repairs to the carpet that came bigger than my expectations. As it turns out, 10 years ago, I suggested to a designer helper that I go with the larger size and she didn’t like the idea. Well, this size is actually much better after all. What a hidden blessing!
